I feel like Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays, besides Christmas. I think the excitement when you are a little kid getting home from school and rushing to eat dinner so you can get ready to go trick or treat really sticks with you as you become an adult, and although you aren't going trick or treating anymore I still find it very exciting to pass out candy and see all the little kids Halloween costumes. Getting to see the excitement you once had in another little just makes you feel so happy.
Another thing that makes Halloween one of my favorites is the fun activities you get to do during the month like going to the pumpkin patch carving pumpkins or going to the apple orchard. Watching scary movies to make the nights pass by.
I really think that Halloween will continue to be one of my favorites especially as I get older and eventually start a family. I think it will just bring all of those memories back.
Hey Kaitlyn, I definitely am a big fan of Halloween too. Growing up I have really good memories of it going out with my friends trick or treating and feeling super independent because I got to walk around the neighborhood, just me and my buddies. Being older, I definitely agree with you about the happiness of just passing out candy to little kids. I also do enjoy watching scary movies so it gives a good excuse to do that.
ReplyDeleteLove it. This pic is amazing. I love seeing the joy, the "checking the haul" and "candy exchange" that happens among my nieces. It's that good carefree fun :)
